About Heart of Jungle

Why we exist

Heart of Jungle was founded to offer a calm, carefully prepared space for people seeking reflection, connection, and a deeper relationship with themselves and with nature. We believe that meaningful experiences deserve thoughtful preparation, honest communication, and thorough support afterwards — not just a few days away.

Our retreat philosophy

Every retreat we hold is built around three pillars: preparation, ceremony, and integration. We do not treat the ceremony itself as the whole experience — the conversations beforehand and the support afterwards matter just as much. We aim to hold space with respect for each participant's boundaries, culture, and personal circumstances.

Respect for culture, nature and personal boundaries

We aim to honour the cultural and ecological origins of the practices we hold space for, minimise our impact on the natural settings we use, and centre each participant's right to make informed, voluntary choices about their own participation at every stage.

Heart of Jungle retreats are not a replacement for medical or psychological care. If you are currently receiving treatment for a physical or mental health condition, please discuss participation with your own healthcare provider first, and be open with us about your circumstances during the suitability conversation.
